12th International Yoga Day Celebration – 2026
Our school celebrated the 12th International Yoga Day with great enthusiasm and active participation on 21st June 2026. The event aimed to create awareness about the importance of yoga in maintaining physical fitness, mental well-being, and a healthy lifestyle.
The celebration began with a brief introduction to the significance of International Yoga Day. Students and teachers then participated in a guided yoga session led by the Physical Education Department. They performed various yoga asanas, pranayama, and meditation techniques with dedication and discipline.
The programme highlighted the benefits of practicing yoga regularly, such as improving flexibility, concentration, emotional balance, and overall health. Students enthusiastically took part in the activities and pledged to include yoga in their daily routine.
The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks, encouraging everyone to continue practicing yoga for a healthier and happier life. The event was a grand success and inspired all participants to embrace yoga as a way of life.
