National Reading Day Celebration
Date: Thursday, 19th June
To commemorate National Reading Day and honour the legacy of the inspiring teacher P.N. Panicker, our school observed DEAR Day – Drop Everything And Read with great enthusiasm and participation.
At exactly 12:45 PM during the 6th period, students and teachers across all classes paused their regular activities and picked up their books to enjoy a quiet and enriching reading session. Students came prepared with a variety of informative and engaging books, ranging from biographies and science explorations to historical accounts and general knowledge reads.
The DEAR initiative not only fostered a love for reading but also helped remind us all of the power of books in shaping minds and inspiring change. It was truly heartening to see students and teachers united in this simple yet powerful activity.
