Professor Swaminathan’s Oratorical Competition

An oratorical competition for senior students was held featuring extempore speech topics on current affairs and social issues. This competition was held in honour of Professor Swaminathan, an IET Trustee and avid orator himself. Participants had limited preparation time to deliver clear and confident speeches on themes like academics, patriotism and personal choices. Judges evaluated them on content, delivery, and spontaneity. The event helped students enhance their quick thinking, public speaking skills, and confidence under pressure.
