Annual Sports Day
8/2/2025
The school grounds came alive with enthusiasm and sporting spirit as we celebrated our Annual Sports Day with great fervor. The event showcased the athletic prowess and disciplined performances of our students across all age groups.
The ceremony commenced with a captivating drill display by our primary section students, who demonstrated remarkable coordination and precision in their synchronized movements.
The middle & high school students followed with an impressive March past, their straight lines and perfect formations reflecting hours of dedicated practice. Each house contingent proudly displayed their colors as they saluted the chief guest, renowned national footballer Mr. WAYNE ANTONIO D SILVA, who graced the occasion with his presence.
A highlight of the day was the spectacular gymnastics display that followed. The senior girls and boys presented an awe-inspiring pyramid formation showcase, demonstrating extraordinary balance, strength, and teamwork. Their intricate human pyramids and seamless transitions held the audience spellbound.
Our youngest participants, the pre-primary children, demonstrated their budding athletic skills in a specially designed obstacle race. They jumped over obstacles, hopped through hoops, and navigated balance beams with admirable determination and enthusiasm, drawing cheers from proud parents and teachers alike.
In his address, the chief guest commended the participants’ sporting spirit and emphasized the importance of physical fitness in overall development. He shared inspiring anecdotes from his football career, encouraging students to pursue their passion for sports alongside academics.
The grand event concluded with the chief guest hadinb over the overall championship trophy to Dwaraka (blue) house and the solemn rendering of the National Anthem, as everyone stood in respectful attention, marking the end of a memorable day that celebrated sportsmanship, talent, and community spirit.
The success of the event reflected the meticulous planning by the physical education department and the wholehearted participation of students, teachers, and parents alike.
